Terrible in 2024
There's no excuse for charging $75/month for 100 Mbps with a data cap and 600ms latency in 2024. The 2-year contract lock-in is predatory. I hit my data cap by day 20 every month and speeds drop to unusable levels.

Better than nothing, barely
HughesNet is our only option besides Starlink which we can't afford upfront. The 600ms latency makes video calls impossible. Speeds are okay for basic browsing but the data cap means we can't stream much. Waiting for Starlink to drop in price.
