“Frankly, I don't believe his promises and have contacted Google to get these guarantees in writing. This move to private equity will not end well for consumers.”
“The frustrating aspect is why it took a week of talking to dozens of people, two technicians, and various escalations to finally find someone who had answers and made sure the issue was solved.”
“I've been trying for about 4 months now to get Google Fiber service at their office. I have called GFiber support an uncountable number of times.”
“I have loved the Google Fiber service since I started it over 3 years ago - but they can't seem to figure out the provisioning issue and tell me it's above their security status to access.”

View on FCC Broadband MapEven if you don't use Google Fiber, you benefit from their presence. When they came to Charlotte, Spectrum and AT&T both improved their offerings. I'm on Google Fiber 1 Gig and it's been perfect. No caps, no contract, $70/month. Simple.
Upgraded to the 2 Gig plan when it launched. With the mesh system included, every room in our house gets 500+ Mbps wirelessly. My husband and I both work from home with no issues. The value for $100/month is unbeatable.
The service is everything they promise - fast, reliable, no BS fees. But getting installed took almost 2 months because of permitting issues. They had to run fiber to our street first. Patience paid off though, it's been perfect since.
Had Google Fiber since it launched in KC. Never had a reason to call customer support because it just works. Consistent gigabit speeds, no caps, no contract tricks. Every ISP should operate this way. It's simply the best.
